What does furry mean?

Fan of anthropomorphic animals

A person who likes anthropomorphic animal characters (fictional animals with human characteristics); examples include Sonic the Hedgehog, Star Fox, My Little Pony (MLP), and Pokémon.

Furries are part of a sub-genre of fantasy often called "furry fandom." Some furries like to dress up in animal costumes, especially at sci-fi and comic conventions.
