Fans of My Little Pony (MLP) use somepony to mean "somebody." The characters in the MLP: Friendship Is Magic animated series use this term, which caused fans to start using it IRL.
For example, bronies may use somepony in place of somebody while discussing MLP (or other topics) online. If you receive somepony in a text or chat message from one of your friends, you know you've got an MLP superfan on your hands.
