A "god pack" is an extremely rare trading card booster pack that contains an unusually high number of valuable or high-rarity cards, rather than the typical mix of common, uncommon, and rare cards. The term is especially associated with the Pokémon Trading Card Game, where collectors use it for packs packed with multiple high-rarity cards, sometimes with nearly every card being a major hit.
No single person is credited with coining the term; instead, the trading card community popularized it. The concept first appeared in Magic: The Gathering with the 2014 set Journey into Nyx, while Pokémon god packs became a major part of the collecting scene with Japanese releases beginning in 2019.
