Confused people use HSIK to mean "how should I know." When someone sends you this acronym, it means they don't have an answer to whatever question you just asked them. They're also surprised you thought they'd have one.

You're most likely to see HSIK used either by itself ("HSIK?!?") or at the start of a sentence. When used at the start of a sentence, HSIK usually prefaces a person's explanation of why they couldn't possibly know the answer to your question.
