MCJE

What is MCJE in gaming?

Minecraft Java Edition

Minecraft players use MCJE to refer to Minecraft Java Edition - which is the original version of Minecraft (MC). Java Edition can be played only on Windows, Mac, and Linux PCs.

In contrast, Minecraft Bedrock Edition (MCBE) can be played on Windows PCs, video game consoles, and mobile devices. The two versions of Minecraft also differ in how customizable they are (MCJE is much more customizable, via player-created mods) and how they handle multiplayer play (MCJE allows players to play on open third-party servers, while MCBE pushes players toward private or featured servers).

Example

MCJE is so much better than Bedrock - the fact that you have to pay for mods in Bedrock is so gross
