When delivering news you don't want to hear, people use S2S to mean "sorry to say." This acronym expresses a person's distress and/or sympathy.

For example, if you tell a friend to watch a TV show you love, and you then ask their opinion of it, your friend might start their response with "S2S ..." if they did not like the show.
