What does touch em all mean?

A baseball slang term used when a player hits a home run and runs around the diamond touching all the bases.

The term is often used by excited announcers when a player hits one out of the park. The phrase was most famously used by announcer Tom Cheek when he said "Touch 'em all, Joe" when Joe Carter hit a WS-winning home run for the Toronto Blue Jays in 1993.
