Unfriend

What does unfriend mean?

To remove a friend on Facebook

Tired of seeing your Aunt Kathy post political tirades you disagree with? Then it's time to unfriend her - which means to remove her from your Facebook friends list - so you no longer have to see her posts.

When you unfriend someone on Facebook, the person is not notified. They'll just no longer see your activity or see you in their friends list. (If your own friends list has recently dipped in number, you may have been unfriended.)

If you want to make sure the person you unfriended can never, ever find you on Facebook again, you can block them completely. Doing so will prevent the person from seeing your profile, sending your a friend request, or sending you a DM.
