What does VMA stand for?

Video Music Awards

An acronym for MTV's Video Music Awards, which takes place at the end of summer in August or September every year.

Created to recognize artists with the best and most creative music videos. It was first created in 1984 as an alternative to the Grammy's with more of a focus on a youthful artists. Madonna has won the most VMAs of any artist.
