ADP is an acronym for the average spot that a player is drafted in fantasy sports (most prominently fantasy football). It is an indication of how much the player is valued and comes from mock drafts and real drafts.
The ADP is used by FF owners when drafting to know how much other owners value the players available. It helps them determine what positions to draft and when to fill out their rosters. The ADP of players depends on the position they play, their NFL team's strategy, their age, and the FFL that they are being drafted in.
