What does babysit mean?

To assist a champion in getting more powerful

Babysit is a gaming term in League of Legends that refers to when one champion assists another champion in getting more powerful. It comes from actual babysitting where a person watches over another person.

Babysitting is not about carrying another champion through difficult stages but rather about supporting the champion. When a champion commits to supporting you, he helps you in your lane instead of staying in his lane or the jungle.
