What does jungling mean?

Killing neutral monsters in the jungle

Jungling is a gaming term that refers to killing monsters or "creeps" in the jungle. It is commonly seen in League of Legends (LOL) and Warcraft 3: DOTA.

In LOL, the term refers to a player champion role, in which the player steers his champion off of a lane in order to go into the "jungle" and earn experience by killing neutral monsters.

In DOTA, the term is similar to the jungling meaning in LOL. It involves using jungle creep camps as a source of xp and gold instead of laning.
