What does boomkin mean?

Moonkin druid

A term used in World of Warcraft (WoW) to refer to a Druid that is in offensive spellcasting form, which makes the character look like an oversized fat chicken; can cast elemental spells that throw stars and other objects from the sky that go "boom;" slang for "moonkin," the formal name of the spellcasting form.
