Those discussing books use BOTB to mean "back of the book." Most often, students use this acronym to refer to the answer section found in the back of textbooks.
However, other people may also use BOTB to tell you to look in the back of a book. For example, a friend who loaned you Robert Louis Stevenson's Kidnapped may remind you "there's a glossary in the BOTB, where you can look up Scottish slang."
