Hmwk

Hmwk is a quick, identifiable way to abbreviate "homework." Students discussing their out-of-class assignments might use hmwk in chat and text messages, to save a bit of time. (If they're like most students, they'll need that extra time to finish their hmwk.)

While hmwk strips homework's vowels (a technique known as disemvoweling), it still looks and sounds much like homework. Hopefully, recognizing hmwk in future messages will no longer be hmwk for you.
