DLTBBB

What does DLTBBB stand for?

Don't let the bedbugs bite

Concerned friends and parents use DLTBBB to mean "don't let the bedbugs bite." This phrase is the end of the common bedtime rhyme:

"Good night. Sleep tight. Don't let the bedbugs bite."

While DLTBBB is usually employed in jest, those who have actually dealt with bedbugs know they are no joke. After biting an unwary sleeper, bedbugs feast for between three to 10 minutes, drawing out the sleeper's blood. Bedbug bites typically turn into itchy, annoying welts, which will continue to appear as long as the sleeper's bed is infested.
