Dog Water

What does dog water mean in Fortnite?

Worthless

When a Fortnite player says you're dog water, they mean you're very bad at the game. This term is similar to terribad and was coined by a Fortnite YouTuber named M1lk.

Where did dog water originate?

In December 2020, M1lk first used the phrase dog water in one of his Fortnite videos. While mocking another player, M1lk said:

"You're literally free, Boxed you, Dog water, 0 Pr, You have no earnings, No wager earnings, You're free, Literally so free, Freer than a free sample at Costco, Your dog water, literally so dog."

This video and the phrase dog water quickly became a meme, and Fortnite players have been calling other players dog water ever since.

How is dog water used?

Whenever a Fortnite player wants to trash-talk another player, they may call that player dog water. Dog water is (apparently) subpar water, so calling a player dog water implies they are subpar.

Dog water can also be used outside Fortnite, to call non-Fortnite people and things worthless. For example, if you lose a game of Uno against your nieces and nephews, they may call you dog water.
