Honors means that you hit first from the tee box in golf. The person who has the honors, or honor, is usually the one who had the lowest score from the preceding hole.
Honors may also be decided randomly instead of by lowest score. Honors can refer to a side bet too, where a golfer earns a point every time he has honors at a tee. then, whoever has the most points at the end of the match wins the predetermined bet.
