Ninja

What is a ninja when gaming?

A loot stealer

In gaming, a "ninja" (or "loot ninja") is a player who sneakily (like a real-life ninja) takes valuable in-game items, also known as "loot," that is meant to be fairly divided among a group of players. Gamers primarily view ninja behavior as dishonest since it undermines the trust between players and disrupts the game's balance.

Ninjas typically wait to steal loot during moments that will catch others off guard. Since the behavior involves breaking others' trust and stealing, it is largely viewed negatively in the gaming community. Because ninjas are untrustworthy, gamers are often reluctant to cooperate with them in future games, making them a pariah.

Example

dont invite him to raid. hes a ninja
