What does lewt mean?

Lewt is a kewl misspelling of "loot." Gamers use this term to refer to treasure, weapons, armor, and other valuable items they receive from defeating enemies, exploring dungeons, and opening treasure chests.

You may also see gamers (and others) use lewt to refer to free items and other swag they receive IRL. For example, gamers may use lewt to refer to free items they receive as part of their Amazon Prime Gaming membership.
