In online forums, people may use "QFT" to accompany text from another commenter to emphasize their agreement. For example, if you agree with another user's opinion about an athlete in a sports forum, you may copy and paste their comment, then follow it with "QFT" in your post. People may also use it to ensure forum members cannot go back and change what they have already posted.
Origin of QFT
It is unclear who first coined the "QFT" term, but it became popular on Internet message boards in the 1990s. Now, QFT is much less common since online forums typically provide "like" or "upvote" buttons to show agreement.
