RBBC is an NFL and fantasy football acronym that means running back by committee. It is when a team plays two or more running backs throughout a game with each one getting a similar amount of plays as the other.
When a team employs the RBBC strategy it makes it difficult for FF owners to figure out who to play since they don't know how many chances the player is going to get to rack up yards, receptions, and/or TD scores. RBBC has become more popular since it allows teams to rely less on the health of just one running back and confuse the defense with players that have different traits, where one player may be small and fast and the other may be big and strong.
