Reload

What does reload mean?

To take another shot after a bad shot

Reload is a golf term for when you take another shot after a poor first shot attempt. The term is usually applied to shots from the tee box.

Reload is similar to taking a mulligan, which is also known as a "re-do." Depending on how you score your shots, the reload shot may or may not result in a one stroke penalty.
