Straight TikTok is the mainstream parts of TikTok, which includes dance crazes, influencers (probably ones that came from a TikTok house), POV videos, and thirst traps. While straight TikTok formerly referred to TikToks created by heterosexual users, it now (beginning in June 2020) most commonly refers to the generic FYP content that comes "straight" at you.
TikTok is a video-sharing platform that gained popularity in the late-2010s, especially among Zoomers. With its surge in popularity, influencers flocked to the platform to churn out content to get views and followers.
Is straight TikTok good or bad?
Straight TikTok has a negative connotation. Many TikTok users consider straight TikTok to be the bad side of the app since many of the TikTokers are just posting Tikbait. Conversely, these same users consider alt TikTok to be the good side because it features unique content created to genuinely entertain/inform them.
