ABAM

What does ABAM stand for in League of Legends?

All blind all mid

League of Legends (LoL) players use ABAM as shorthand for All Blind All Mid. In this unofficial alternate game mode, each team picks their champions without seeing the other team's picks (a process referred to as blind picking). Then, both teams fight in a single lane (usually the mid lane of Summoner's Rift).

ABAMs are similar to ARAMs, in which each player is assigned a random champion and teams fight in a single lane. However, ABAM matches are not as popular as ARAM matches - which is why ARAM has become an official LoL game mode, while ABAM has not.
