A person might use C/S if they are uncomfortable talking about the current subject matter, bored with it, or excited to discuss another topic. For example, a person may be uncomfortable joking about death if a loved one recently passed away and message their friends, "can we c/s?" Or, a person may be bored about discussing politics and message the forum, "Let's c/s. We are way off topic, and it's only making people mad."
