Fanum Tax

What is Fanum tax?

Taking food from a friend

Fanum tax is a phrase that Gen Alpha uses to describe the act of stealing food from a friend. It is named after Twitch streamer Fanum, who is a member of the streaming group AMP.

Origin of Fanum tax

When Kai Cenat and other members of AMP are eating while streaming, Fanum periodically pops in to steal some of their food. AMP fans began referring to these thefts as Fanum tax, and eventually, the AMP streamers themselves began using the phrase.

However, Fanum tax really went viral in late 2023, when it was used as part of the Gen Alpha slang parody song Sticking Out Your Gyat for the Rizzler. This befuddling song includes, among other strange lyrics, the phrase "ur so Fanum tax."
