Some Christians use the acronym FORGIVE to stand for "Faith, Obedience, Righteousness, Grace, Inheritance, Victory, Edification." To them, these seven principles serve as a reminder for how and why people should forgive each other.
While faith, obedience, righteousness, grace, inheritance, victory, and edification are fine enough reasons to forgive someone, simple human kindness is another. Kindness may not be as cute as FORGIVE, but (most days) it's easier to remember the meaning of.
