Ghostship

What does ghostship mean?

A fantasy football team with no owner

A ghostship is a term used in fantasy football to describe a team whose owner has abandoned it. The owner either gave up on his team or is too busy to maintain it and make roster moves.

A ghostship may be the product of a draft dasher who likes to draft a team but doesn't want to manage it. This is a big no-no in FF since it decreases the competition in the league. The term can also be used as a verb like, "Carl is ghostshipping his team again."
