GTF

What does GTF stand for?

Gone too far

When someone says you've GTF (gone too far), it means you did or said something incredibly distasteful. For example, someone may tell you you've GTF after you key their car or send them a crude joke.

Typically, when someone says you've GTF, it's polite to apologize for whatever unpleasant thing you did. If you want to apologize quickly, you can respond to GTF with SBT or sry. (However, if what you did was particularly offensive, you should take the time to write out a full apology.)

Example

She's GTF this time. We have to fire her

A man who thinks you've GTF
