What does iggy mean?

Someone who has put you on iggy is ignoring you. This slang term is most often used in online chat, to let someone else know you don't plan on answering them. For example, if a friend of yours is being a troll, you may want to tell them you'll be iggying them for a while.

Iggy is also the first name of rapper Iggy Azalea, who has released multiple albums since 2011, and musician Iggy Pop, who is often referred to as the "Godfather of Punk." If someone tells you they love Iggy, they likely do not enjoy ignoring people. Instead, they are likely fans of Iggy Azalea or Iggy Pop's music.
