What is inc short for in gaming chat?

Incoming

Gamers often use inc as shorthand for "incoming." (Or more accurately, "INCOMING!") You're most likely to see this abbreviation in chat when an oppo's units are approaching.

For example, while playing League of Legends (LoL), your teammate might post "inc, bot" in chat. This means at least some of the opposing team's champs are pushing the bottom lane.
