LUL stands for "love you lots," which is often used to tell someone how much you love him or her. It is often used online, in emails, and in text messages.
LUL is typically used when ending a conversation with someone you greatly care about. It may also be utilized in the middle of a sentence when you just gotta tell that person how much you love him (lots, btw).
The love may be platonic or romantic. Some people that you may love lots are your parents, sibling(s), kid(s), spouse, gf or bf, BFF, and Mister Rogers. You may also see LUL as LYL or ILYL.
