MBFA is an acronym for "make baseball fun again." It was created in 2016 as a challenge to other MLB players to have more fun playing baseball.
The acronym was created in 2016 by Bryce Harper, an outfielder for the Washington Nationals. He put a sticker on the end of his bat that was visible to TV cameras when he was at the plate to hit. Harper spearheaded the movement to get players to lighten up on the staunchly old baseball etiquette and show more emotion when playing the game. It commonly appears on Twitter preceded with a hashtag.
