QB2 is an acronym used in fantasy football (FFB) that refers to the second starting quarterback on a team. The acronym is only used in FFB leagues that feature two starting QB slots in a lineup.
Most leagues only allow 1 starting QB to play. These leagues usually consist of 10 or more teams. The lineups in these leagues look something like this: 1 QB, 2 RBs, 3 WRs (or 2 WRs and a flex position), 1 TE, 1 K, and 1 team defense and special teams. However, leagues with less teams in them, like 6 or 8 teams, have more QBs available to draft, which means it's easier to start 2 QBs.
