RB1

What does RB1 stand for?

Starting fantasy running back

RB1 is a position in fantasy football (FFB) that refers to a team's starting running back. The acronym is only used in FFB leagues that allow two or more RBs to start in the lineup.

The RB position is the most important position in FFB because it has the best chance of scoring the most points. The position is used for running and catching the ball and has a good chance of scoring TDs, especially when close to the goal line. Most FFLs consist of starting lineups with 1 QB, 2 RBs, 3 WRs (or 2 WRs and a flex position), 1 TE, 1 K, and 1 team defense and special teams.

Example

My RB1 has been garbage but my other RBs have filled in admirably and picked up the slack
