Romantic relationships between two women may be labeled WLW, or "women loving women." This acronym is also sometimes used to describe women who love women ("women-loving women").

Any romantic relationship between two women can be described as WLW, regardless of whether the women in question are gay, bisexual, pansexual, or transgender. Fictional content that depicts female-and-female relationships, including artwork, stories, and TV shows, may also be labeled WLW.
