Bn
Bad news
BN is an acronym for "bad news" that typically appears online or in text messages. It often refers to a person's own bad news that they have to share, or actual news from journalists.
If you see the BN acronym, you should brace yourself to hear something disheartening. You might even want to turn off your TV or phone so the bad news won't reach you and therefore will not be real. For some people, BN is too much to take so they just call it fake news.
Example
I'm tired of only seeing BN on TV

Bn is an abbreviation of the word "been" that people often use when texting. They may also use bn when messaging online, including in posts and DMs on social sites like TikTok and Twitter.
For example, you may text your friend, "its bn 2 long! how u doin, brotha?!?" Or, one of your followers on X might post, "has ne1 here bn to chile? im thinking of going."
While bn is not much of an abbreviation considering its original length, it is one of many short words that remove two letters. Other examples include r, y, and u.
