LOM

What does LOM mean in gaming?

Low on mana

When your teammate in an MMORPG or MOBA says they're LOM, it means they're "low on mana." You're most likely to encounter this acronym while playing World of Warcraft (WoW) or League of Legends (LoL), two games in which using spells and abilities often costs mana.

Usually, when a teammate tells you they're LOM, it's a warning that they won't be able to use their skills if your party engages an enemy. So, you may want to gift that player a mana potion or wait for their mana to regenerate before diving into battle.

Example

LOM, need a mana pot. Anyone have any extras?
