NSFL means "not safe for life." People use this acronym to denote links, posts, or videos that contain content most people would not want to see or hear. For example, a Redditor might tag an especially gory video as NSFL, to warn you that you might not want to watch it.
Sometimes, people also tag especially offensive content as NSFL, to warn you that you won't like their opinion. No matter why a piece of content has been deemed NSFL, you're probably better off not interacting with it.
