How well do you know your Fantasy Football slang?
In League of Legends (LoL), to roam means to move between lanes during the laning phase. Supports and junglers often roam, to help their teammates gank opposing champions.
A good roamer can help their teammates head off opponents' advances and score some early kills. However, if you were previously laning, roaming can leave your own lane undefended - allowing a savvy opponent to push your lane while you're away.
